MSQE Scholarship Application This award is bestowed on a deserving student interested in pursuing a Masters of Science through the Masters of Science in Quantitative Economics (MSQE) program at the University of Connecticut. The application deadline is May 1st The student should identify as belonging to a group that has been traditionally underserved by graduate economics programs, such as women and underrepresented minorities. We are also looking for students with the strong quantitative and mathematical skills necessary for success in an economics graduate program. This scholarship amount equals the amount of graduate full-time in-state tuition and fees, for each of the three semesters of the MSQE Program, if in good standing and registered as a full-time student for that term. The MSQE is a three-semester professional degree offered by the Department of Economics. Cases where a scholarship is awarded late in the school year will result in adjustments to a student's financial aid. The OFSAS will work with the department to postpone the award to a future term providing the student is in attendance for the future term.
