The student should identify as belonging to a group that has been traditionally underserved by graduate economics programs, such as women and underrepresented minorities. We are also looking for students with the strong quantitative and mathematical skills necessary for success in an economics graduate program.
This scholarship amount equals the amount of graduate full-time in-state tuition and fees, for each of the three semesters of the MSQE Program, if in good standing and registered as a full-time student for that term.
For more details on the MSQE program please see: https://msqe.econ.uconn.edu.
Please don’t select out because you are not used to applying to graduate programs. If you feel like this is what you want to do, apply! We will read every personal statement and look for potential.
