This program is designed for highly motivated students who wish to complete both a bachelor's and master's degree in Economics in a shorter timeframe. Students begin taking graduate-level courses while still completing their undergraduate degree, effectively overlapping the two programs.

Step #1 - Gather Application Materials
Complete Initial Plan of Study
This Plan of Study document must be completed by the applicant and faculty Advisor Min Seong Kim in preparation for the MSQE 4+1 application. It is lays out a plan for when in your undergraduate studies, you will take 12 credits worth of graduate-level courses to count towards your master’s degree. Write a Personal Statement
Personal statements are a required upload in the MSQE 4+1 application. They should be:
- A Word, PDF or Image file type
- 650 words or less
- Simply explain why you’d like to participate in the program

Application Overview
- To complete an MSQE application, you will need create an account using your email address.
- The application will ask you person information that you should readily know.
- For most students who have the necessary documents prepared (Step #1), the application takes about 20 minutes. However, you will be able to save your progress and resume later.
- This application is free. However, when you apply to The Graduate School after completing your undergraduate degree, fees will apply.
