Applying early is strongly recommended to avoid last-minute processing delays.
The MSQE program does not offer graduate assistantships at this time.

MSQE Scholarship

The MSQE Merit Scholarship is a competitive award intended to recognize applicants with strong academic preparation and high potential for success in graduate-level quantitative economics.

Scholarship recipients will be prioritized based on:

  • Undergraduate GPA.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in mathematics, including success in undergraduate math courses.
  • Prior coursework or background in econometrics, statistics, and economic theory.

Awards are made as part of the admissions review process and may vary in amount and availability from year to year. The scholarships are not available to students holding a graduate assistantship.

MSQE Merit Scholarship Application

Application Deadlines

The MSQE scholarship application deadline is May 15.

Students who wish to be considered must first submit their application to The Graduate School, and then complete the scholarship application by May 15.

Financial Aid and Loans

Some MSQE students may be eligible for federal financial aid or may wish to utilize Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loans.
