Why Choose UConn’s MSQE?
Your Home for Quantitative Analysis and Economic Strategy
In a time where data is the new currency, the University of Connecticut’s Master of Science in Quantitative Economics (MSQE) offers more than just a degree; it provides a competitive edge. By blending economic theory with computational tools, we prepare students to not just enter the workforce, but to lead. Whether looking to fast-track your education or pivot into a high-demand data career, discover why UConn’s MSQE is a top choice for the next generation of analysts.
Program Uniqueness
The UConn MSQE is the only program of its kind in Connecticut and remains one of only a handful of such specialized degrees in the United States. We occupy a unique niche: more technical than a standard master's in economics, yet more grounded in theoretical logic than a typical data science degree.
